Verify Checksum

You can check if your download has been corrupted by verifying the MD5 checksum. To find out what is should be, go to http://www.slax.org/get_slax.php, and click on "md5."

Additional Programs

Additional programs can be added to Slax by downloading modules and dependencies. They can be downloaded from http://www.slax.org/modules.php.

Boot USB without BIOS Support

The BIOS in older computers cannot be set up to start an operating system from a USB drive. In that situation, the PLoP Boot Manager can be used to start the operating system from the USB drive.
