Root Text Editor

When perfoming tasks which do not need root or administrator privileges, use a normal text editor. Only use a root text editor to perform administrative tasks. If you do something wrong in a root text editor, you could mess up your operating system.


Leafpad

Install Leafpad Text Editor.

To start Leafpad text editor as root, open the terminal and type:

sudo leafpad

< Root File Manager
